My mental health journey has been a long, arduous road with many obstacles (many of which were self-imposed). While things aren't 100% they are gradually improving and for the first time in years I feel like I'm not only in control of my own life, but getting to the point I'm content with the way everything is.
I've been able to start opening up more and communicating better. I haven't had any thoughts of self harm in a while. And my outlook on life is finally more optimistic. I'm beginning to feel like myself again, and it's honestly a huge relief. I didn't think I would ever feel like this again.
