Struggling with Insecurity and Habitual Lying: Seeking Advice on How to Improve

Post Body

Hi everyone,

I’m struggling with something that I hope to get some advice on. Lately, I’ve found myself lying more often, especially when I’m feeling insecure or down about myself. It seems like a way to protect my self-esteem or cover up my feelings of inadequacy, but I recognize it’s not a healthy coping mechanism.

I want to understand why this happens and how I can address it. I’m looking for strategies to build self-confidence and healthier ways to handle my emotions. Has anyone else experienced this? What steps have you taken to manage similar issues?

Thank you in advance for your support and suggestions.
