I honestly don’t even know where to ask this. I am not intentionally stopping my medications. However this is the second time I’ve felt very severe withdrawal effects because I can’t keep meds down due to a stomach bug. I’m shaky. I’m cold. Everything feels really weird and glitchy. I zone completely out pretty often. It’s not safe for me to drive. I can’t go to work for 2-3 days after recovering and being able to continue meds. I’m also kind of scared because I’ve been told by a friends daughter, who is an RN, that im at a much higher risk of seizures when stopping cold turkey like that. And I swear it’s not because I want to. I can’t keep anything down. Besides the crappy icky feelings of the withdrawal… there are REASONS im on the medications that im on… the one I “think” is giving me these symptoms is Geodon. 40mg 2x a day if it matters. If anybody has any sort of tips to dealing with meds while dealing with stomach bugs I’d greatly appreciate it… I have 2 small kids so it feels like I get sick pretty often.
