Do you constantly talk to your friends throughout the day?

I have this need to be constantly chatting with my friends or family throughout the day. I don’t mean calling my mom at night or casually checking up on them, but to have a lasting conversation every day (through chat mostly). If I’m not having this very close contact with other people, I feel lonely and worried that I’m only talking to my partner and becoming dependent on them.
Are your friendships this close or do you casually catch up with your friends to meet?
