Hi, I (17F) have finally landed a lifeguarding job, I've always wanted to be a Life Guard but ever since ive started self harming (years ago), I kinda realized that this may be a bad idea and my employer really needs a lifeguard so I can't back out now and I really need this job, Anyway, I have scars pretty much all over my arms, thighs, stomach, and even some on my ankles so its pretty much everywhere. I'm gonna be in a swim suit alot and I don't really know what I can do to cover up besides waterproof makeup.
I also have to fill out a staff medical sheet and I don't know if I should address it either! If anyone else is a lifeguard that has scars or has any advice, please let me know!
