Itās become a toxic environment 80% of the time. 4 friends in the chat, but two of them have become very extreme politically over the years. One of them has triggered me to have 2-3 panic attacks over the years from it, most recently today.
I need to do better at removing myself from toxic people and toxic situations. I donāt care to obsess over politics like some of my āfriendsā. They tend to bully others if they think differently than them.
Iāve had enough. And itās sad because Iāve been friends with them since I was in elementary school. But Iām too old for the bullshit that is talked about 24/7. Iāve had the chat on mute for probably 5 years so I donāt get notifications from it, but I have been in the chat every day and talking in it every day. I have already left their Snapchat group and Instagram group last year. This is the last remaining one.
I know Iām going to feel alone because I have no other friends. Iām afraid of getting down and depressed.
