Hello! I've been very interested in cups for a long time, but I was too poor to splurge. Then about a month ago, I ran out of tampons and saw the June promo. I could get both sizes for the same price as a new box of tampons. It was a no-brainer.
I wore the small yesterday (period day 1- usually quite heavy) and woke up in a bloody puddle. I've been wearing the large today and it seems to be working better, but it hurts to remove and it's difficult to get it to open. Both cups stick out a bit.
I didn't even know discs were a thing, but I love the idea of my period not interfering with my sex life (I'm on nexplanon and bleed about 60 to 70% of the time).
To nurse a spinal injury, I do essentially kegel exercises every day. I've done them every day for two years, and will continue to do them indefinitely. I'm afraid how that interacts with the cup.
I guess I'm wondering what your experiences have been with both cups and discs (maybe even panties as well), what insights and recommendations you have, what wisdom you have to impart, etc. I did very little research before buying these June cups, and now I want to learn all the things!
