Okay. Today is my first official day using my cup and I’m loving it so far. I have minimal leakage which I’ve already figured out how to fix. I excitedly ran to my mother who knew that I bought the cup and told her that it was working well. She then asked “So when are you going to get rid of it?” I was confused. For whatever reason she thinks that the cups are single use. Does that make any sense? Why on earth would I spend $123 on a cup to use it only once? I tried to explain to her that it can be used throughout the cycle and many more to come and you just rinse it while using it and sterilize when not in use. She insists that I’m wrong and that she knows best because she’s a nurse. She mentioned before that they have ‘cups’ at her workplace but I’m wondering if she’s mixing it up with something else similar. She’s telling me that I’m letting the internet fool me and that I’m setting myself up for an infection by just rinsing and putting it back in. I didn’t bother trying to correct her or explain further because she’s so stubborn in her beliefs. I’m just ranting so don’t mind me, it’s just so annoying
