Oddly enough, most people don't want to hear me preach the menstrual cup. But I've been over the moon these past few days and I need to rave about it! Thanks to some beginner's luck (and months of passive research), my first period using the cup has been AMAZING.
I'm extremely lucky that my first purchase (size 1 Lunette) fits me perfectly. But perhaps what I'm happiest and proudest about is the fact that I learned so much about my body in just three days. Having knowledge of your anatomy is so empowering!
I hope to see a day when menstrual cups go mainstream. I wish they were introduced to kids and teens in schools, alongside their disposable counterparts. I also wish every cup-user could have an experience as hassle-free as mine.
I'm seriously so happy and thankful for this little cup and the supportive communities around it. Ironically, I've never been prouder to menstruate— now that I feel like I've conquered it!
