What are the Casios and Seikos of sunglasses? I honestly don't know what brands are good for sunglasses, all I own are these Vincent Chase sunglasses (which I gotta admit look pretty good) and want a pair from a good brand. I don't want Ray-Bans, so what other brand should I look for under $100?
You need to know the sun glass business is essentially owned but 2 or 3 company’s. Luxottica and Safilo. They license so many brands glasses that essentially all branded sunglasses are the same. You could look at Moscot (great brand - expensive). American Optical - good history to them but they aren’t like they used to be made.
I wear vintage AO from the 60s and 70s. You can find them still on eBay. I used to have description Moscot but lost them recently.
