Can you use your degree in private life?
Post Body

People who have for example completed training as a painter can use these skills in their private lives. But can you also use things from your university studies in your private life?

I studied mechanical engineering from the best university of my country and I can not use a single thing

Yes! Pursuing my degree in environmental science led to lifelong passions and interests, like birdwatching and other amateur naturalism, and gardening. I was also able to lead my child’s’ scout group in earning quite a few badges just by teaching/showing them things I know.

The whole point of this is to talk to Mensans about interesting things, not to talk about Mensa. OP’s question is an example of why I joined Mensa in the first place.
