I'm considering re-entering now that I'm wiser and know what to expect
I had my IQ tested as part of other neuropsych tests I had for health reasons. I didnāt know I had a high IQ, and I joined Mensa when I found out I was eligible. I did it for me, for my own self esteem issues, and also because I hoped it might be the answer to why I always seemed so different from others and had trouble relating to them. Finding out I was Mensa level gave me hope that I might finally have found āmy peopleā. So far, that hasnāt played out for me, but itās only been a few months, and Iāve only had a chance to attend one local Mensa event. My state group is not super active, and most of the events that happen are in a different part of the state a few hours away.
