I like to read and review (mostly indie)comics and one thing I've noticed is that apparently it is difficult for artists to draw significantly different faces for reasonably large casts of characters.
In my readings I've noticed that both men and women suffer from near identical levels of face sameness, men just have the benefit of being able to grow facial hair to further differentiate them.
But is the consensus that this is considered sexist? If you say it's poor art practice I can somewhat understand but I'm really trying to get the general vibe here.
Please don't torch me.
