As a British person, I can name Californian, southerner, rivermen (I think that’s one, usually around Mississippi area), New Yorker, and I think Nevada area has its distinct accent? Oh and the Florida accent is also one to note.

The way I think of it’s like British 2.0 tries to make British 3.0 sound effects, but ends up sounding like British 1.0. I think that’s right, correct me if I’m wrong.
