Sorry Probably isn’t the right sub but I couldn’t find one topical to my question.

I write this on behalf of my wife who is planning on studying next year to become a nurse. The current plan is to do a EN coarse followed by RN - the reason being is she was told since she has not completed year 12 she would not qualify to start a uni coarse in nursing - year 12 is a prerequisite.

I was wondering how much truth there is to that - ideally she would cut time and effort and go straight for RN.

Would love to hear from other nurses in The same boat.
