Interstate License Question?

DUI Interstate
Late December, at a roadside breath test my husband blew 0.14. Copper said he will lose his license but not on the spot, he will receive a letter in the mail RE: court date etc.
Husband lives in NSW // has a NSW license.
RBT was in VIC.
Yet to receive any correspondence from VICPOL…. Has anyone been in a similar situation…..? Maybe there is just a back log? I would have thought they’d be right onto it but my husband is still free to drive until he receives this letter.
