Hello all,

As the R4r subreddit is closed (quite rightly) for business at the moment, I thought I would post here as I think a lot of people are longing for connection at this time.

I think, like many others, being stuck at home has made made me appreciate the connections I have made and value new connections as well.

I'm working from home and limiting contact with others (still).

I'm looking for some people to play video games with, and with the potential to meet in the real world once it becomes safer. I have posted on gamingpals with success but largely from the US and Europe, so I would love some lovely Melbourne folks to shoot the poops with. Even just chatting while playing games is cool too.

• LoL, no I do not want to play Dota2 sorry.
• Hades, Aboria, Dreamscaper, I enjoy my roguelikes and roguelites.
• Diablo 3, path of exile (just started), Last Epoch ...I like loot, OK!
• Astroneers
• Dead by daylight
• Monster Hunter World

Generally I'm happy to pick up and play a new game that looks good. Deep Rock galactic looks alright too.

A little about me:

• Employed full-time in a professional and 9-5 type capacity.
• I love the outdoors, and being active, usually in conjunction - climbing, hiking, kayaking, gardening
• Try to be consistent with fitness and nutrition - I am a decent cook and enjoy restaurants if I can't cook that food myself.
• I consider myself to be compassionate and try to live this value. I try to understand others.
• The above being said, I also enjoy deeper discussions about politics, ethics and philosophy, I try to have a reason for being and acting and thinking the way that I do. I enjoy my ideas being challenged and I love to learn.
• I read and listen to audiobooks and podcasts. I like to watch anime and other cartoons, and have been enjoying parasite recently after re-watching Tokyo ghoul. Adventure time is my jam.
• Music, yes. Eclectic tastes, but nothing too fast or overwhelming.
• Animal and environmental advocate/activist
• Pretty left leaning politically, LGBTQIA friendly
• I am not looking for a relationship or something sexual please no thirsties.
