What does everyone think about instead of privatising key state assets, the Victorian Government levied a charge that directly funded the new infrastructure projects we need to build? Iām not sure by which method the state government could do this though, maybe by charging it on payroll or as a percentage/ fixed amount on utility bills? Alternately maybe a percentage increase in VicRoads rego and PTV fares (though I presume PT in Victoria is already significantly subsidised).
