UPDATE:

This is a DOWNGRADED Watch and Act message issue by Country Fire Authority for Lake Charm, Mystic Park.

Firefighters have stopped the spread of the grassfire in the 8KM WEST OF LAKE CHARM area at the west side of the train line , it is now contained, however local weather conditions are still unstable and there is still active fire within the fire perimeter.

This is an Emergency Warning issued by Country Fire Authority for Mystic Park, Lake Charm and Kangaroo Lake.

There is an out of control grassfire travelling in an easterly direction from Third Marsh towards Kangaroo Lake Road and Grey Rd.

Crews are currently holding the fire west of the train line, but conditions are dangerous.
