come to the open day and sort out housing?
Post Body

I had a few hits and misses looking for places to rent in melbourne on the internet. There was this vacant unit advertised as a one bedroom unit for rental and after that that person told me it was shared. It was a nice place but i am the type that cannot share a place.

The university i would be going has an open day in August, i was wondering if going to the open day and looking for housing in advance (of 2 months) would be a good idea? and as well as to get a feel of the surrounding.

And also do they let you sign rental agreements in advance?

All advice appreciated.
