When I stop….

Hey everyone, I’ve been taking 2mg prolonged release melatonin. The doctor has told me to not take melatonin for more then 3weeks the medicine says so aswell.
I want to plan ahead when I finish the 3 weeks what I should do ?
Would it affect me ? Would I still be able to sleep ?
