I'm a hopeless romantic. I would love nothing more (other than world peace) than a man (23-33 years old) to text me cute poems or send me sweet quotes from time to time (see my post on my profile under r/Singles). I know that I'm not the most beautiful woman in the world, but my personality and spirit make up for what I lack in looks. Someday a man will genuinely see me and appreciate me for my inner beauty rather than getting all caught up in what size I am or what race/ethnicity I am.
That being said, when that day comes, I will move heaven and earth for that man and vice versa. I’ll be faithful to him and expect that he’ll be faithful to me. I’ll text him good morning when I wake up and text him good night before I fall asleep. I can't wait to wake up next to him every day (unless we’re in an LDR) and thank the gods that he’s mine and how incredibly lucky I am to have him in my life. I’ll be that girlfriend who texts him that I miss him or send him cute/funny memes or poems throughout the day to make him smile. I’ll listen to him when he vents about his day and hold him whenever he feels sad or lonely. I’ll be his biggest supporter, his rock through life’s ups and downs. I'll be by his side through sickness and in health, for richer or poorer (Huh! Those words seem familiar...🤔😁). And someday, when he gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him, I’ll say “yes”. Hell, I might even cry a little (Ugh. 🤦🏾♀️ I love and hate being a Cancer. #iblamethecrab)!
I'm not asking for much. I deserve to have a man who will love me, make me feel safe and secure with him, and make me feel like the luckiest woman in the world because I'm with him.
P.S. I'm a sucker for guys with long hair, beards, and tattoos. 😉
