Non-premed person with Med dreams, feasible?
Post Body

Hi, let me preface by saying yes i know itā€™s possible. But is this feasible? How much of a disadvantage would this be?

I am a Pol Sci grad, currently finishing my M.A. in public administration, but a career in Medicine has been one of my dreams since I was a kid. I have just been given the OK, tuition wise.

My bachelorā€™s and masterā€™s are nowhere near the field of Medicine haha. Iā€™m 23 years old, Iā€™m just an average student. 2.2 GWA nung undergrad, with 1 failed subject. Though sa Masterā€™s I would say I can graduate with a 1.25-1.5 GWA since Iā€™m more focused now. UST for both studies.

What scares me is that, Iā€™m not particularly an achiever, nor do I come from a premed background. I need some advice, am i being too ambitious? Would schools accept me with my low undergrad GWA? Anybody on the same boat as me? Iā€™d prefer UST rin sana, but just getting accepted to any school would be a dream come true.

Plan to take my NMAT after I get my masters degree.

Thank you everyone, I hope youā€™re all safe po, and I wish everyone good health.
