gays/lesb population in med industry

i'm f25, and this is prolly not the right subreddit for this pero i just noticed na a lot of gay girls i talked to/dated are in the nursing/healthcare field. im not in the industry myself pero i wonder if the healthcare industry is as open and inclusive to the lgbt community as the others na.
