Does an MLT program have to be accredited?
Post Body

My goal is to work in California one day as a CLS/MLS (after graduating with a bachelor's, graduating from an MLT program, working two years as an MLT in Arizona while taking prerequisites like Medical Microbiology from an Extension, taking the MLS exam, and applying for a California license).

Although I currently live near Saddleback College, the college does not have the NAACLS accreditation that Barton CC has.

Does this mean that Barton CC is the best choice?

How difficult is it to find a lab as a cooperating lab and for clinicals in Orange County, California?

Thank you!
