Hey everyone !

So I am completing my AS in Lab Science from my community college (finishing my summer course soon ) that’s designed to transfer to Upstate Medical University.

I have applied and only made it on Alternate list, this program is only accepting in the Fall and if I do not get in I’ll have to wait and entire year and try again.

The other MLT programs are all 2 plus hours away from Syracuse

This leaves me with a problem of what to do for an entire year …

Are there any lab related jobs with no certifications I can try to apply to work, at least in the environment that you can think of ?

I really do not want to lose my momentum

( I am also older student 37 year old, spent most of COVID doing testing for a company that worked for the film industry) ( also the AS degree is pretty much requirements, Chem 1-2 O Chem 1 , A&P, Micro, Precalc with Trig, and gen Ed )
