Idk if anyone needed a tutorial on this or if this is already well known info and it’s just me who needed this, but as Dan’s Helmet is only unlockable by playing this demo, I figured I’d tell y’all how I was able to download it in 2020.

I first picked up the MediEvil remaster last month and I never played an entire in this series prior, so I was completely new to the scene, yet I loved the game and wanted to get everything out of it that I could. This is when I read about the Short-Lived demo that was only available for a short time, and that Dan’s helmet was an unlockable item in game if you had played the demo. Out of curiosity, I checked the PSN store on my PS4, but with no luck it wasn’t available anymore as expected. I almost gave up, but I decided to do a quick google search and found the webpage for the demo was still up on the US PSN site. I logged in to my account and it let me download it direct to my PS4! It took quite a while just for a demo, but it worked and I was able to play through and unlock Dan’s helmet. Hopefully this can help someone else who is late to the game.

TL;DR.. Go to the PSN website on your PC or mobile browser, search for the demo, login to your account, and download direct to your PS4.
