Day Trip to Medicine Hat - Questions Please!

I'll be be camping at Cypress Hills for a week (including this upcoming weekend) and looking at possibly planning a day trip in to Medicine Hat. I have 3 kids (8, 10, 13).

Any suggestions on things to do? Unique stores? Fun activities?

Also, I am on the hunt for a specific beer - Stanley Park's Electro Lager. It's my wife's favorite summer beer. They still make it, but all the stores where I live have stopped selling it. Any chance anyone has noticed it for sale in the Hat recently?

The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede is this week including Friday/Saturday.

Drop in at the Visitor Center for trail maps and a guide which includes self guided tours. Maybe book a ride on the Sunshine Trolley.
