It's always interesting to read different perspectives within the medical world, and the distinctions between specialties can be quite dramatic. With everything going on in the world right now, I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we build each other up and show some love to our fellow colleagues.
Which specialty do you have a particular amount of respect for, and why? Pediatrics for being able to work around screaming kids all day? Oncology for guiding patients through their last days? Or maybe its the ER folks who see all comers, rain or shine? Someone else?
Be good to each other. I'm looking forward to seeing the responses and discussion.
