PTO use strategy employed outpatient
Post Body
I was curious is anyone had good strategies to make sure they use all of their PTO while still hitting production targets. I do outpatient family med and my practice opened in 2018 but with maternity leave then pandemic times, I think 2021 I hit a good stride with production. I am happy with my earnings but I want to see what happens taking all my PTO (didn't in 2021 but had banked some with COVID..)
Do you split it up into quarters? Do you leave a certain amount for sick time? Any tips on ideal amount of time off (like one week always better than shorter, but more frequent time?) I know that it depends on travel ideas and such but I like to plan for the year if I can so I have things to look forward to outside of work.
