For the docs on here: Is medicine more enjoyable when you start working?
Post Body
I’m a 4th year medical student. Already finished all my OSCEs and got a year left.
My experience on placements has generally been ass. On top of that, I’m starting to get really bored of studying medicine. There’s just nothing fun to it.
So for you practicing docs - what was the transition like between university and actually working?
I have a feeling im not going to enjoy this career, which is worrying me. That maybe I made a mistake as my passion for the (academic) content is really not there.
