ready but not ready to graduate
Post Body

I just left an event where the 4th year class was celebrated and it’s really starting to hit me that i’m in my last year of school. it’s shocking that i won’t be a student anymore when i’ve literally been a student all my life. it’s also shocking how much responsibility we will have come july. Those tasks and phone calls will become my responsibility and i’ll be asking a third year for help in just 8 more months. I feel ready to put this education to use i feel like i want to knock out step 3 as soon as possible. (if i march home I’ll only have 4 months of inpatient IM/ICU and the rest will be outpatient rotations)

It’s the last year of being student and idk it feels strange. I also never liked graduating because i always get sad that we are all branching out and leaving each other. HS,College, med school etc.
