If you have a fairly good idea about the geographic location of where you want end up working and if it’s a relatively underserved area talk to your local hospitals. Most of them will be willing to provide you a monthly stipend and give you a contract if you are going into a field that they have difficulty hiring. You would be surprised how eager they would be to get signed up!
