So I work for a small nonprofit helping to establish new residency programs. And though I'm not the person who's always working directly with the hospitals, I do get to speak with our PDs, DIOs, and PCs quite a bit.
I'm curious what attracts you to residency programs. Because I've definitely seen here and heard in person the same platitudes about how special programs and places are. So what brings you to an area? In all honesty the data points to 70ish percent of you practicing within 100 miles of where you do your residency.
