I always have my hair done and like to put on some light makeup (a bit of eyeliner, mascara & blush) and that hasn’t changed for me having started third year.
However, there has been a couple of instances where, most often older residents, have made comments “teasing” me about putting in an effort. The most disturbing time being when, an R6, asked who I was meeting tonight in front of all the other residents and an attending. She then went on about how she could never have the time to do all that in the morning. It is an extremely uncomfortable situation to be put in.
Should I tone it down? Am I being perceived as unserious? I want everyone to be as brutally honest as possible lmao
