So this is a mix of a venting session plus curiosity. I passed the final exam in my last preclinical pharmacy class by literally a handful of questions. I'm so happy to be done with this professor that I've been stuck with for the past year. Her questions were always super detailed and very picky where she would change just a few words to make the question wrong. Or she would change a dose from being TID to BID or change the dosing amount by just a few mg/kg to make the answer choice wrong for example.
Anyways, I'm curious if your programs pharmacy classes are like this as well. Do your professors make you memorize specific details of dosages for antimicrobials? On my final exam I had to know about a 100 doses all being very specific (BID vs TID, dose amount for various age ranges and situations, specific length of days such as 3-7 days for pharyngitis, etc.)
