As a medical student, I've lost touch with a lot of my high school friends and college friends. Our school places a heavy emphasis on extracurriculars, especially with us freshmen where we are basically required to join.
So those, plus with the usual difficulty of med school studies, kept me incredibly busy and incapable of reaching out and talking to my old friends.
A lot of them are pissed or disappointed that I haven't been an active friend ever since I entered med school, and with everything on my plate, I don't know how to balance that with our academics.
What can I do to improve on this? I know it's just "Be more attentive or aware or just reach out more," but how do guys genuinely do it? Like how do you balance those kind of stuff?
