How many days off can you take?

This obviously varies from school to school. Iām just curious how many days off in a row you can take and each semester/block. I received a fellowship to attend a society meeting in December and my school is saying I can only receive 3 days off in a row (the conference is a week long and the grant depends on you spending that week). Thanks in advance for sharing.
