, I understand the general consensus that DO>Carribean. I currently go to a top 3 Carribean school and am in my 2nd semester. I’m doing very very well and am focused. Idk what speciality I want, maybe EM. I was just accepted to CHSU (California Health Sciences) a DO school 2 hrs away from home.

I am torn between dropping out here and starting all over. I want to do what is best for my career regarding match and stuff. I know the general consensus about DOs being better but this is a new school in pre-accreditation and I am doing well in the carribean. Also being an MD rather than DO would be cool but I understand that is meaningless.

Would appreciate advice on this situation, it’s very hard for me right now
