All over tiktok I see it over and over again. Medical gaslighting and it relating to POTS. Thinking back to a couple of years ago my wife even would send me pictures of her heart rate at work with it being elevated at like 150 at times. Though she was freaking out about it for months, she eventually was diagnosed with POTS, wears compression socks at work and has never complained about it since.
Why is POTS so common? What are the underlying causes of it? Does it relate to a largely inactive generation? Why is it predominantly females?
