Issue you're having (be as detailed as possible) - Okay so basically I've had this lump under my armpit for a couple years now, I think. It's hard to remember when it actually began. I went to the doctors about it once but there was also a spot/blocked hair follicle at the time that I had to burst and drain so I feel as though it went unnoticed due to that.
Recently (past two-three weeks) this lump has started causing discomfort when I put my arm down. Like.. I don't know, like if I were to hold a small golf ball or a ping pong ball under my armpit I guess? I have to constantly readjust, and can hardly get comfortable at night. It's not painful at all, and I can definitely feel something in there (doesn't hurt when squeezed, either). Having rats that I've had to check for lumps every few days for over two years has definitely helped me when it comes to figuring out what is/isn't normal to be there, and this definitely doesn't feel normal.
It's not huge, not even really "big", it's just sizeable enough to cause agitation. I only have it on my right armpit. There's a small "lump" on my left but it feels like something that's maybe meant to be there and doesn't cause any agitation or annoyance.
I feel like I should mention that I rarely shave my armpits anymore, but this doesn't flare up at any particular "shaved/non-shaved" kind of period and I wash under my pits every day, moreso after work, so I don't think it's related to not shaving.
I'd just like advice on what anyone thinks this could be. I'll be going to my GP anyway but that could be weeks away.
