Two weeks with a headache and no answers
Post Body

I (39M) have had a head ache, top-right-back of head for two weeks. Without anti-inflammatories like Advil or Aleve I have non-stop lightning strike pain radiating from the headache site, down to my ear and temple. I've been to the doctor's twice and had a CT scan that didn't show anything obvious at first glance. 4 days later still waiting for comprehensive report. Saw a physiotherapist yesterday that confirmed the muscles on the back right of my head are super tight and did some work on them, but it didn't change anything. I was given morphine and muscle relaxants via IV with the doctor, it didn't touch the pain. No movements can trigger the lightning strikes, it's completely random. Headache is worse when sitting or laying down.

Any one with any similar experiences with ideas what it could be?
