Is this normal?

So, whenever I eat dinner, afterwards my butt will start to feel all hot for some reason. The food doesn't even need to be spicy. This kinda happens too at lunch but only for a bit. Is this normal? Btw, I have been diagnosed with GERD by my doctor.
