So, about a month ago I started having pain right where my gall bladder is. Eventually I got an ultrasound, it showed sludge in my gallbladder. So, fine, having that removed this Friday.
But about three days after the gallbladder stuff started, it felt like my legs just lost muscle mass overnight. I was crawling up the stairs and panting by the time I got there, couldn't walk across the parking lot, etc. even with a cane. Then my arms started getting weak, struggled to even pick up five pounds of flour (when I can normally pick up my 95 pound kid). Saw the doc on video, but he had covid so only saw him in person this last week. By the time I saw him, a lot of my symptoms were improving but I also had acquired tremors in my hands. All kinds of metabolic tests were run, everything is normal. Strength tests were done on legs and arms, my legs showed normal strength but my arms showed weak. This seemed weird. He referred me to a neurologist, by then my legs seem mostly normal (balance is still off and I still get weak and dizzy spells, but like, 85% back to normal). All strength tests showed normal. She's convinced it's FND though she's ordered an MRI to rule out MS and more blood work to rule out myasthenia gravis. Is there anything else, if the blood and MRI come back normal?
