Some back ground, starting around the 18th of 19th of August I started to develop a cough. Nothing serious, just a persistent cough, no mucus, ni headaches or pain, just a cough that doesnt go away. My parents have been telling me it's nothing serious, that I'm young and healthy and that I'm worrying over nothing, just being dramatic. But I don't think it's that. The cough is strange, it's doesn't flare up when I do excercise and cardio, only when I'm sitting around, then I get some mild coughing fits through out the day. Sometimes they aren't so mild, but nothing serious.
At first I thought it was a post viral infection. A couple of weeks before the cough started my family went to vacation outside the states and most of us got some kind of stomach virus, all I know is that I ended up puking and pooping all through the night the before we would go back home, up until the flight home. When we got back, I took a nap, but when I woke up I had a temperature of 103, besides that I was fine. Just a few cold showers and by night time I was back to normal body temp. And now I have the cough
I have taken antibiotics, it hasn't helped. I've taken mucinex and cough drops, hasn't helped much, if at all. But there isn't anything physically wrong with me. I've have had the occasional stuffed sinus, my hearing being a bit muffled but that's it.
Shoukd I go to a clinic or something or wait out and see what happens?
