Looking for some insight. I’m a 31 year old female who is a non-smoker and someone who has a healthy diet overall and is active.
I take vitamins, including vitamin D, C, zinc, calcium, and magnesium.
I also take collagen and peptides and make sure I drink lots of water. I drink tea every night.
Despite my healthy habits, I get sick all the time. I’m starting to wonder if someone is wrong with me or my immune system.
I was just sick last month and now I’m sick again. I was sick 3 times in the fall/winter with RSV, the flu, and then COVID. Doctor thinks this time it’s a sinus infection, but said it could be anything…. My sinuses are so messed up and I can feel the pressure behind my face and especially my eyes. Last few years, I get sick multiple times a year! Then I think I’m better and then it comes back…. This has happened a few times.
Is it possible I could have an underlying sickness that’s causing my immune system to be whacky? Doctors chalk it up to my immune system being down from the previous sicknesses and not enough rebound for full recovery. Since I’m young, I fear they’re just looking past any possible real issues. They just send me on my way and say make sure to keep doing what I’m doing.
Any advice or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
