I genuinely feel silly asking this, but I've been seeing someone casually lately. We spend a considerable amount of time making out with each other when we're together. While we're kissing, my lips go numb (not in the tingly kissing sense, they start feeling NUMB like I'm at the dentist). He claims that he doesn't take coke often, just when he's going out. He's promised not to do it around me since he knows I don't like it, so I don't actually know how he takes it (snorting/rubbing gums/whatever), just that he does take it. He smokes cigarettes quite frequently, so it could be that it's the smoking that is making my lips numb rather than the coke. But I also experience an unusual amount of exhaustion the following day, which is why I'm concerned about having it in my system.
I don't know if I'm being paranoid and imagining the effects, but I need to know if it's possible that this could actually be impacting me negatively or not. I've been frantically Googling and I can't find anything conclusive.
