So basically the title. I have one day left of my antibiotics and my sore throat is still lingering. I can’t really tell during the day but at night I can feel it again. It was really bad but antibiotics for sure helped slowly but surely but I can still feel it. For reference my antibiotics was for 7 days, but I didn’t start it until like 4-5 days of feeling sick bc I didn’t know it was strep. I was prescribed 500mg of amoxicillin taken three times a day. This really worries me bc i don’t want to finish my antibiotics just for it to come back full force. At the same time I really don’t want to do more antibiotics bc it’s causing me many side effects like irritability, anxiety, lowered appetite, constipation, and it’s killed my sex drive. Before when I had strep antibiotics made quick work of it no problem. If anyone has any advice on what my game plan should be I would really appreciate it. Also (19M, 6’3, 205Ib)
