I had a condition in which I was not getting any help from other treatments and acupuncture was then highly recommended to me. I went to a nicely rated acupuncturist in who was confident he could treat my condition and he proceeded with the acupuncture. I went home later and had severe numbness, pain, weakness, and dysfunction in the hand in which he inserted a needle. I went a few months with doctors to try to get a proper diagnosis and treatment, all of which failed. It definitely appears to me that it is nerve damage and it is serious. The numbness, pain, weakness, and dysfunction  have now moved all the way up my arm into my shoulder, neck and back. I sometimes will get random spasms as well. It has made my life incredibly difficult and I saw a neurologist for a while who also claims he does not know what is going on, but I do not believe him. My other case begins here. He set up an mri with contrast for my hand to see if he can see something he missed. I went to the mri recently. I told the mri practitioner I was skeptical of the contrast injection due to the debilitating symptoms in my right hand that brought me there to begin with. She proceeded to tell me she knew what she was doing and injected contrast in my left hand. Couple days after that procedure, I now have numbness, pain, weakness, and dysfunction in BOTH hands/ arms, shoulders, and back. The symptoms are COMPLETELY DEBILITATING for everyday life. This has been going on for far too long and I am requesting your help in what is going on so I can fix it already. Im a very active person and completely healthy otherwise, it has completely taken a toll on my life. Please tell me what is going on and what I can do to cure this for good. Thanks.
