So some context and he is doing okay.
The 4th we spent most the day outside and in the pool. Though we had water to drink and available with breaks I think my son got too much sun.
Towards the afternoon he said he felt a little dizzy but they were making a whirlpool in the pool. Said his tummy was a bit upset but he has t had much to eat. We ended the night and at bed time he was running a low grade fever right at 100•. Gave him ibuprofen and a bit later it was down.
This morning he woke up and I found him in the couch. He said he felt a little dizzy and sick. He was running 102.3 fever. Took Tylenol and he laid in bed with mom. Stayed good all day, made it lazy with water and movies. No complaints normal activity.
This evening he Cher’s we’re flushed and he was really warm. Temp was at 100.3. Gave him a dosage of Tylenol and will check on him later.
This could be two fold or one or the other.
He has ear way so I’m wondering if he possibly has an ear infection. We go to the audiologist tomorrow for a cleaning.
But here are the symptoms.
Low grade fevers since Tuesday afternoon
Slight cough - drainage and snot he is hacking up
Said it feels like something is on his tongue constantly
He’s eating normal, playing games, walks fine, good fluid intake. I just worry. I’m one of those parents.
Can sun exhaustion or potential ear infection cause these type of reaction?
